In this post, we highlight some of the editable HTML templates that are suitable for editors and publishers dealing in web content, including freelancers in blogging and copywriting fields. PageSection provides content-editable HTML templates — which can be customized and edited online. Users can also export (save or download) the final results.

We created the online HTML Editor as a solution to saving time when creating HTML markup and content for web pages. Various tools exist, as a way to help website content creators such as bloggers, create web content without coding (also known as "no-code" solutions). This includes Content Management Systems (CMS) which we wrote more about in this other blog post. However, being able to produce HTML (code) content saves you and your clients a lot of time thus providing value to the editors and publishers who do not want to convert (add and remove HTML tags) manually. It is a legitimate skill to be able to produce webpage content in HTML form as compared to plain text (or Microsoft Word files) since HTML is the actual language used to organise, design and render webpages.

The templates are free to use

PageSection provides free HTML templates which can be edited online or downloaded and used for any commercial or personal use. Select any provided template (or live demo) and use the online editor to customize, save, preview and export HTML markup/content.

Text template (basic starter)

A simple webpage with a title and some text. It is provided as an editable template so you can click and modify content directly. This template uses basic HTML and styling, no JavaScript included.

Blog post template (using inline CSS)

Another content-editable template, using inline CSS, with more elements and text. You can always edit templates online with PageSection, and even print the page as a PDF or direct export and download. This template does not use or include JavaScript.

Tailwind CSS template (using tailwind.css)

This template uses Tailwind CSS, which is currently (as of 2022) one of the most popular CSS frameworks used in website development. We provide a basic sample template to help users create content for Tailwind CSS blogs and webpages. This template uses Tailwind v2.2.14, it does not include or use JavaScript.
